Should Students Be Allowed to Grade Their Teachers

                  It has been a normal thing if every students has their own favorite teacher. The way teacher teach make students give their opinion about their teacher’s personalities in school. Indirectly the way they judge has been created a comparation for teachers. Now the problem, is grading the teachers be allowed or not?

      We need considering the bad side of grading teachers, this way may causes bad relationship between the teachers, because there will be a feeling like jealous each other if they know in what level they were. Although students are have a role as barometer for measure teacher’s quality, but according to me personally, students are child, still inexperienced to judge them. They still controlled by their emotion and judge without any reason, just go by itself. It’s also impolite and probably will hurt our teachers. Who knows?

                   Another side, we need to know that not all students are childhood, I’m pretty sure that a half of them are mature enough to judge their teachers by their observation. If the system of grading teachers at the school is applied, it will make teachers know how their performances. There are so many factors why some teachers may be the most favorite. I have asked my friends with their different opinions, a half of them said, the most favorite teacher is the one who can construct her/his self as our friends, so teaching and learning process isn’t too serious, it’s just like we having sharing knowledge together, and it’s not about the subject difficult or not, but how the teacher can bring the good atmosphere in the class. A half of them also said the most favorite teacher depends on what subject they love, so if students love mathematics, exactly the one who teach that subject will be the favorite teacher. Those are some factors of the way students grading their teacher.  The good side about grading the teachers are, they can know how far their successfulness to make their students understand what they have thought about. Teachers can know what they need to improve and changes the methodologies of teaching become better.

                   At the end, all of teachers are the best choices from school. However, they have show their best to students, and being a teacher isn’t easy job. It takes high responsibility. Well, the conclusion is, students may to measure the performance of their teachers and how well they meet expectations, but their grade should not affect teachers' salary or position because the grading is so subjective.
